Voltage
Voltage is the potential electrical difference between 2 points. It is basically the pressure that allows current to flow through a circuit.
It is measured in Volts(V)
Current
Current is the flow of energy passing through a circuit providing power to components.
It is measured in Amperes(A)
Resistance
Resistance is the opposition to the flow of electric current in a circuit.
It is measured in Ohms(Ω)
A useful way of remembering is:
- Voltage= electrical potential/pressure
- Current= flow of charge
- Resistance= opposition to that flow
